Filippo Italian Restaurant – A Disappointing Dinner Experience

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Filippo, an Italian restaurant that left much to be desired. From the rude service to the tiny portions, my experience was far from enjoyable.

To start, the staff at Filippo were unhelpful and lacked basic communication skills. My wife attempted to speak with them in English and was met with ridicule and comments spoken in Italian. When I attempted to speak with them in Italian, the staff member’s reaction was condescending, which only added to the unpleasant atmosphere.

The food was another disappointment. Despite the high price tag for a fresh tuna dish, the portion was minuscule and unsatisfying. It was so small that I had to question the server to ensure it wasn’t a mistake.

To make matters worse, the three courses were served one after the other with no break in between, resulting in a rushed and unsatisfying meal. The entire experience, from start to finish, was over in just 20 minutes.

Adding insult to injury, as we were finishing our meal, the staff began to remove tables and close down the restaurant, making us feel pressured to leave. The entire experience was over in just 30 minutes, and it was not even 9:30 pm in the evening.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Filippo Italian Restaurant. The rude service, unsatisfactory food, and rushed atmosphere make it a dining experience to be avoided. I rate my visit a 2/5 stars. If you’re looking for a quality Italian meal, there are plenty of other options that won’t leave a bitter taste in your mouth.
